The R/T was the ultimate K-car sleeper, even if this red on red on red example is a little less than discrete. The demure sedan packed a 224 horse, force-fed, Lotus-designed powerplant with a steady appetite for timing chains. 60 mph came in 5.8 seconds on its way to a top speed of 140, making it one of the fastest front wheel drive vehicles ever offered in the states, and most certainly the quickest sedan in town for the early '90s.
Only 1,208 were sold in 1991, with 774 clad in red, making this Brooklyn beater a rare sight indeed.
