1968 Plymouth Fury VIP




Any ideas what VIP stands for?

  1. The VIP just means that the interior came with wood colored inlays in the console and dash.

  2. " Very Important Plymouth " and many more options and add ons than just wood inlays. Actually mine is a true 1968 VIP and it has the upgrade interior with no wood inlays.

  3. Actually The V.I.P. We're a limited editon mainly used for police in 69, over 330,000 Furry iii we're sold that year, and wood inlays I don't think so. This car happens to belong to me and is all original except the carpet, paint and front drums have been changed to disc as all furrys in 68 came with drums all around. If you have original I doubt you drive it much if you haven't changed out the drums.
    I was shocked to find my VIP here on this site it's always nice to ask.
