2011 McLaren MP4-12C

2800lbs, carbon fibre composite chassis, 600hp twin-turbo V8, "brake steer" technology, 62mph to full stop in 7 car lengths - The Future is Now.

One of the more interesting notes is the astounding rate of innovation in producing the 176lb carbon fibre tub. A comparable chassis takes 3,000 hours for a F1 car, 500 hours for a SLR McLaren, and only 4 hours for the MP4-12C. We'll settle for nothing less than all-carbon-fibre-everything economy sedans within 5 years.

Thanks for the ID help, Keith.
