Actually, it's a '69 I owned it for 13 years and had a great time with it. My girlfriend and I drove it all the way out to NYC to deliver an art show in January,2006, and it's been all over the western states many times. I was the second owner and it had 142,000 miles on it when I got it. I had a 350 put in to replace the original 307, and put on another 150,000 miles. I sold it to a guy here in town about 3 or 4 years ago and he's given it a new lease on life. The hub caps are an earlier vintage of chevy truck caps, but I just liked the way they looked better than the original "dog dish" style ones.
Man, it looks perfect. The white steelies with dog dishes compliment the paintjob nicely.
ReplyDeleteNice looking van. I've always liked Chevy vans of this vintage. I especially like the two tone colour combination. Are there anymore pics of this van?
ReplyDeleteSorry but thats not a 65'. That is a 1967 and up.
ReplyDeleteNice van though.
Noted.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip, Anonymous!
